In this video I give a very personal review of the Sony Mylo, Nintendo DS, Sony PSP, Nokia N80, Nokia E61, Nokia N770, Qtek minicomputer/phones, and our very own Skype Fon.

Martin,
The difference between a boy and man is the price of the toys 😉

Hi Martin,
Very nice office, but with so many Wi-Fi gadgets how come you are still in the office? 🙂 Thanks for the demo.

Hi Martin,
I really enjoyed this video, it was nice to learn about so many different devices.

Full disclosure: I am a Linus in the FON network so my judgement may be blurred ;-P

Hi Martin-san You are WiFi Gadgets geek also me too. I have launched YouFon VoIP service to support all devices which have Speaker and Microphone. 🙂 But sorry no English now.
Many devices are working under the cloud of “La Fonera” now in Tokyo. It is very cute.

I can only agree about the 770. And yes, it’s a very clear love/hate relationship and the non-techy friends will just not get it why you would want something like that 🙂

Very cool video, thanks for that!
Is it right that I can log on to every fon hotspot even thought the Skype Fon will not have a browser to log on?
Would be nice so I could use it with every hotspot I can find, and one step further, a VPN client would be great so I can use the Skype Fon whole day at my technical university in Munich! =)
Love your blog, you’re a really great entrepreneur! Thanks for sharing your ideas!
Best regards, Nils

Nice video, now, when FON is going to enable them to share their wireless connection, maybe using mesh networks (ex: Roofnet) to get them relay transmission one to each other? In general, if you can push FON inside your end-users (ex: in their laptops or wifi gadgets), and you enable the mesh networks functionality, network coverage would grow exponentially with users, and faster.

Will that Skype Fon be only for Skype? Could we use something like Peoplecall or some other ISP??
That would be freaking awesome… 😀
Nice review!!
