La arquitectura es bastante llamativa por su asimetría y su diseño que combina cristal, cemento y madera, aunque no me parece nada acogedora para una casa. Sin embargo, tengo una duda, ¿qué son exactamente esos círculos azules en el suelo de esa especie de patio en el que tienes una planta? ¿Son estanques? ¿Puntos de luz? ¿Desagües? ¿Huecos para macetas?

Un estilo un poquito complicado para mi gusto, que soy un admirador de Le Corbusier y del funcionalismo puro.

I’ve seen very good ideas, and I like the open atmosphere and amplitude.
Still, and I confess I agree with your posts 99% of the time, I think I am too Spanish to enjoy living there.
As I know the effort it implied, congratulations, and enjoy it for long, long time.

Well the Casavars architects, Acebo and Alonso who designed it and Luis Prada who managed the construction are all Spanish.

Lo de los splitters de climatización no tiene perdón, con lo que has gastado y se les olvidó que los cristales y el hormigón armado son una jaula de calor, deberian haberlo canalizado en la estructura. Lo más divertido es la escalinata sofá en el living.

I agree that the A/C heating units in the living room are ugly. But there was just no way to deal with the 40C days in July and August and the freezing weather in December and January. The architects did a very poor calculation of what it would take to keep this house at 25C in the summer and 20C in the winter. We only use them in months of extreme cold or heat.
