In the world of firmware one figure truly stands out and that is Brainslayer, the famous German hacker. I came accross Brainslayer enquiring about who the best firmware writers in the world were and when I found out that his software was in use by around 100,000 access points I was super impressed. I contacted Brainslayer, Sebastian Gostchall over Skype and he responded. Two days later he was collaborating with FON in Madrid. We are very lucky to have him.

Now last night I was working late in Paris and Brainslayer shows up on my Skype again and tells me that he is working on a FON button so all the dd-wrt access point owners will be able to choose if they want to become foneros: namely if they want to contribute their access points for others to use when they come near their home and then get free wifi roaming elsewhere in the world. But he says the problem is that our web site is only now in Spanish, French and English and that he has a lot of users in Germany and Sweden. Nevertheless he says he has a solution named Dark. Now Dark could be one of Brainslayer´s most interesting hacks… This is Dark.

Pete,

Sorry, Darks picture appears to be removed at the server.

Dark is not a software tool, she is a great looking girlfriend of Brainslayer, but when Brainslayer saw the number of visits that his girlfriend was getting…he removed the picture. You can´t blame him!

Regards,

I’m a day late, and a dollar short – but you can tell Dark she’s a beauty.

Not sure if I’m up to converting a router. Never even thought of it, never crossed my mind. But, what I’ve seen so far is VERY interesting.
