Personally, I am happy that this has not been made ilegal in Spain.  I believe that handset subsidies distort the mobile market and lead to a lack of competition.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img src=\"https:\/\/english.martinvarsavsky.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/08\/limo.jpg\" alt=\"limo.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Same happens in the States. For example, when I bought my iPhone, one of the things <a href=\"https:\/\/english.martinvarsavsky.net\/general\/the-iphone-is-let-down.html\">I criticized<\/a> the most was that it is locked to use it only with AT&amp;T. That is why I am happy to find out that George Hotz (17 years old from New Jersey) figured out <a href=\"http:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/s\/ap\/20070824\/ap_on_hi_te\/iphone_unlocked\">how to unlock the iPhone<\/a> and use it with other companies.
