And now that the US government is seeking buyers for a trillion of those assets going for <a href=\"http:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/s\/nm\/20090323\/bs_nm\/us_financial_usa_bailout_3\">private equity funds and hedge funds<\/a>, I wonder this:  Why do I have to pay somebody a 20% commission to buy those assets?  Why can\u00b4t I buy those assets directly?
