It&#8217;s something like a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.last.fm\">Last.fm<\/a> for travel,\u00a0a streamlined city guide that aggregates the collective intelligence and experience of travelers like you.\u00a0Dopplr calls it the <em>social atlas<\/em>. You can find pages for all the main destinations in the world, see for example <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dopplr.com\/place\/es\/madrid\">Madrid<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dopplr.com\/place\/fr\/paris\">Paris<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dopplr.com\/place\/gb\/london\">London<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dopplr.com\/place\/us\/ny\/new-york\">New York<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dopplr.com\/place\/us\/ca\/san-francisco\">San Francisco<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dopplr.com\/place\/au\/sydney\">Sydney<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As you visit cities around the world, Dopplr will alert you to the places your network has been and enjoyed. Dopplr has made marking places as easy as possible: wherever you see a place you can click on the green &#8220;+&#8221; next to it to say you&#8217;ve &#8220;been here&#8221;. Click a second time to say &#8220;you&#8217;ve been there and liked it&#8221;.  If you want to undo all of this, just click a third time.<\/p>\n<p>In other news, Dopplr now lets you easily <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.dopplr.com\/2009\/02\/23\/how-to-use-twitter-and-dopplr-together\/\">add trips using Twitter<\/a>, simply sending a direct message to dopplr, something like \u201cd dopplr a trip to London on May 19th until May 23rd\u201d.
