This is what the UK Foreign Secretary <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"David Miliband\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/David_Miliband\">David Miliband<\/a> had to say:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8216;I don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s just the fact that we are meeting in The Great Hall of the People and we listened to the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"General Secretary of the Communist Party of China\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/General_Secretary_of_the_Communist_Party_of_China\">general secretary of the Chinese Communist Party<\/a> talking about the need to prop up global capital markets that brings home to one that there is this big shift in economic power.&#8221; <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Brutal paradoxes these days.
