Barack Obama on Twitter

Friends of mine who have met Barack Obama are raving about him and they say that I will be as impressed when I meet him. I am a trustee of the Clinton Foundation and still think that the world was a better place when the Clinton´s were mostly running it and would like to see that happen again. Having said this I am intrigued about Obama and it´s a testimonial of the power of the internet today that the only contact I have had with him so far has come through Youtube and lately because he accepted me as a friend in Twitter.

  2. Well, he can be impressive somehow, but he is one of those extremely religious Americans, and I don’t mean extremist, who think God will guide them (or the country) to a better future.

Example from one of his speeches about how he became more and more religious:

It came about as a choice and not an epiphany; the questions I had did not magically disappear. But kneeling beneath that cross on the South Side of Chicago, I felt God’s spirit beckoning me. I submitted myself to His will, and dedicated myself to discovering His truth.
