Videos and pictures from the Menorca TechTalk 2008

This is the first of a series of posts I’ll publish. It’s great to have friends so good at taking pictures and videos, because they save me the work and the result is much better then what I could do myself.

In the following video filmed and moderated by Thomas Crampton, I discuss with Joi Ito and Loic Le Meur about what is the best place to start a business (Europe, US or Asia?).

Here are pictures taken from David Sifry (Technorati), Loic Le Meur (Seesmic), RJ Friedlander (Grupo Planeta), Benjamí Villoslada (Meneame) and all pictures tagged “menorcatechtalk2008” on Flickr.

  1. Martin, in the second video you say something like that the place where it is really difficult to start a business is Latin America.
As I’m from Argentina, I would like to know what is it that it makes it really difficult in comparison with other places.

  3. It’s a good discussion. But I’d like to know something: What about starting a business in Middle East or some other parts of Asia (India, Signapore…)? Does anybody have something to say?

Martin: Looks like Menorca Tech Talk has been a great event, thanks for posting…
