The Web 2.0 Exchange

With Stardoll issuing Stardollars, with Second Life having Linden Dollars and many other sites selling virtual gifts and virtual property, will we soon see an Exchange in which all these virtual currencies and properties are traded?

  4. To add a bit of history there was also another innitiative in 2003 called Gaming Open Market as I’ve read in Slashdot long time ago.
    Now ,as ouriel comments, SPARTER.COM is the largest gamer2gamer marketplace to this transactions.

    of interest as it describes some of the implications of these sort of exchanges amongst many other ideas
