The Cuban Paradox

I think it´s particularily tragic that in the island of Cuba both Fidel Castro and George W Bush two heads of state normally at odds would agree on one thing: that torture and abuse is a fair way to deal with those who seek to destroy their regimes.

  1. I think it is even worse that the biggest democracy in the planet doesn’t complaint about their elected President using torture as a state policy. It has been three years since the USA are torturing their prisoners in Cuba. Very sad.
It is terrible when a dictator tortures, but it is incredible when an elected President does the same and nobody changes it.

  2. torture is evident of a new world where mighty powers feel threatened. When secure, torture is seen as evil, illegal and what the oher guy does. When it is done outright, in public,it defines a new era of of powrful govts feeling under a real threat.Survival instincts rule…only thosewho have beenunder torture wil understand its creeping weight of pulling us down. But govts feeling under as real gun will never take he suicide pill when torure offers an out.
