Put ” ” marks around a name, eg, “Tom Varsavsky” on Google images & u will narrow results considerably

martin must be figures as a more mainstream/fat tail charachter. i guess polar rose wants to enable the long tail!

Do you know tinEye.com by Idée Inc.? Still in private beta but seems promising by their take on image search.
tinEye + polarrose + twitxr = ?

Also very interesting is their firefox extension show cased in the presention video.

Check out the results for the “martin varsavsky” search string on 123people.com. The results are quite accurate: more than 40 pics of you, various email adresses (okey, not your fon email), your social network profiles, weblinks, a tag cloud, etc.

Hola Martin,
for me 123people.com works best. The site does not just feature accurate pics of myself, but also gives an overview of other traces that I leave on the net (my Youtube videos, blog posts, press releases, etc.) I checked for Tom and would get some pics of him, but also pics of you and other “Toms”. The search results however also included the link to the Polar Rose results for “Tom Varsavsky”.
Have a look at it, it’s quite a relevent site I think.
While we are at it, let me recommend you another site that I recently stumbled upon: http://www.6billionothers.org. It is a beautiful idea and website. No business concept behind it, more a scientific or artistic approach.
