Putting Bluetooth in La Fonera sounds an excellent idea to me (BTW, France Telecom Livebox is already Bluetooth enabled).
In a few years there will be 1 Billion Bluetooth phones on the planet!
When you open a Web browser on your Bluetooth phone, it could look for a FON router nearby and connect to the Internet using 3G only if there is no FON router.
Your router could also detect when you arrive/leave home and welcome you, turn lights off, transfer phone calls to your mobile...

Martin,

Wi-Fi is the "bully" of Bluetooth as it has far more radio power. How will you solve the interference issues that prohibits coexistance, at least to sustain a decent speed on the Bluetoth side? Good idea, but I don't think Bluetooth was not made for this purpose.
