The problem with using a Chumby at a FON hotspot is that it would have to have a compatible web browser on it in order to negotiate the login page. Most small wireless mobile/PDA devices are unable to do this, and the fon login page is picky about what browser you use, too. Fon chooses not to make a simplified mobile/PDA version of the login page, either!

Chumby is a great little gadget, but making a FON router Chumby, is well... a bit chubby :-)

What would be nice (if and when Chumby is available) is to make it easy to use FON routers as Chumby Hubs. For example, I could set up 2 or 3 Chumbys at home so that I can page one another, or use them as an intercom... or maybe something more creative.
